NH Start time moved up.

How’s the automatic trans overhaul coming along?

It’s bone dry here on the coast and blazing hot.

I’ve already had more 90° days at my apartment this month than all of last year.
 
I will never understand this ****. Move the damn race up even more, and let's create a window. I know, I know.....TV.......and I am as picky as the next guy with my USA programming. Sheesh.

Gap in rain today from 11am-5pm.

The cup race at NH rarely goes beyond 3 hours. If Nascar had the foresight to push it to... Oh wow... 1:36 instead of 2:06!!!, really good chance we get the whole race in

Was a time we rushed home from church to make the 12:30 start time. Then NASCAR management made a deal with the debil and embraced those horrible West coasters. <wink>

Sadly we would miss 30 minutes of the race that way. IMSA is on the USA Network at that time, and on NBC, some sort of dog contest. Which we as NASCAR fans can easily say take off, but I mean I’m guessing someone probably watches it haha.
 
Let's look on the bright side of things, fellers.

With the broadcast starting at 2:00 p.m. Eastern and the race starting at 2:06 p.m., we'll only have to put up with 6 minutes of pre-race gerbil gibberish. :)

As a West coaster I miss those days of the early start times. Got to watch a race in the morning and be done by early afternoon and get on with my day.

Speaking of the bright side, with the watches etc, one thing people are overlooking is the vortex theory.

A spinning tornado will surely contribute and keep the track dry, right?
