Looks like they will get qualifying in, the race isn't looking so good. At least Sunday is looking like a beautiful day.
 
IRP. I think this has the possibility of being the best race of the weekend on my dance card.

So I get why the Cup and Xfinity are on break for the Olympics and everything… but like why isn’t there a Truck race in that time? They are FS1 or FS2 every race, maybe sometimes Fox. Like, I think doing them and an ARCA race in that time would be good.

I don't think it has much to do with TV. Many people on these teams in the Trucks work or have support with Cup and Xfinity organizations.

That could be maybe. I just found it odd that ARCA has two races in that time, but the Trucks didn’t. Like could’ve been cool to throw them together that weekend and give fans something to watch. Oh well. At least we have ARCA to hold us over.
 
And it's the same camera and technical crews regardless of network.

Fox may figure it's not worth trying to compete with the Olympics.

May be easier to sell commercial time for ARCA. Menard's has most of the ad time already purchased. May be harder to convince sponsors to pony up for Trucks against Paris.

Or I could be full of it again.

That’s a fair point I suppose. It would definitely be cheaper for that.
