I believe so.Same tires as the Spring race??
Goodyear will publish their tire info tomorrow.Same tires as the Spring race??
I remember the race where Terry Labonte was wrecked by Earnhardt on the last lap and he still won. In another Bristol race, Earnhardt wrecked Labonte on the last lap again and Earnhardt won the race. I think it was the only time Earnhardt was loudly booed.

I recall comments here hoping for the same tires and that teams would do better now that they know what to expect. Now that teams better know what to expect, tire management will be the key for drivers.
Goodyear is at the expert level in word salads.Goodyear followed up that event with a test at Bristol on July 16-17 to understand what led to the high wear. Six teams participated in that test, those of drivers Chase Briscoe, Chris Buescher, Austin Dillon, Justin Haley, Corey Lajoie and John Hunter Nemechek. With mid-summer temperatures higher than what they were at the race in March, there was a possibility that the track would take rubber more easily at the test, but that did not happen.
While September, at night , is usually cooler, this will be an important exercise in tire management ...
I could not care less about a college football game. Pro either, now that I think about it.I could not care less about a college football game for schools I didn't go to.
I was actually in the pits after the race. I was THIS close to Brook Gordon while he was being interviewed between haulers. Beautiful butt.....I was one of them BOOING from the grandstands in turn one.!
My Mountaineers are set for the a$$ beating at noon so I should be home in time.....I hate this race is going on at the same time as the Tennessee-Oklahoma football game. It will cut into viewership and attendance.
It's a problem for footballers, racing fans? not so much. The 4 crown Nationals at Eldora in the dirt will be on around the same time as Bristol on Flo. Looking forward to the weekend myself.I could not care less about a college football game for schools I didn't go to.
Just did a quick google search of hotel rooms and man are they gouging people $700 to over a grand a nightit's one OF THE races on the calendar each year, 1 of 1. If you ever wanted to go to a race, pick this one. It's truly an amazing experience, there's NOTHING out there like Bristol. Stay in Johnson City, TN the track is about 20 min away and have fun.
yeah I got gauged probably, I knew it going in. Just saved extra money along the way to pay for it, I never worry about that kind of stuff when there's bucket list items to be checked off. Prices arnt for the faint of heart during race weekends at some of these towns close in or around the track.Just did a quick google search of hotel rooms and man are they gouging people $700 to over a grand a night
Stay in Asheville.Just did a quick google search of hotel rooms and man are they gouging people $700 to over a grand a night
Sadly Bristol is notorious for this. When I went several years ago I booked the day the NASCAR schedule came out and got a very reasonable rate before they raised their pricesJust did a quick google search of hotel rooms and man are they gouging people $700 to over a grand a night

Nice. I really don't follow football either, but didn't know there were any Mountaineers fans here. Don't forget the couch. My Mountaineers are set for the a$$ beating at noon so I should be home in time.....
I think it’s first just outside of the ‘crown jewel’ events, but still top 5 overall. There’s not much else like a packed ‘Colosseum’ under the lights. This race should be considered a crown jewel.
At least it’s in Norman.I hate this race is going on at the same time as the Tennessee-Oklahoma football game. It will cut into viewership and attendance.
Wait. There's a difference?I could not care less about a college football game. Pro either, now that I think about it.
Or Abingdon, Va if coming from north.Stay in Asheville.
Haven't had much reason to burn them this year so far huh?Nice. I really don't follow football either, but didn't know there were any Mountaineers fans here. Don't forget the couch.
