Hurricane Helene

I have done a countless number of day-trips there and met lots of good people. It is just survival now, but I wonder if they will rebuild the shops and restaurants.

Doesn't have a damn thing to do with one of the worse weather disasters in our history. Got it.
A few days ago. There was one guy in Florida, no shade on Floridians, these people are everywhere, that was saying that the reasons the hurricanes were so strong was because of the hot water (got that part right). He said if we dropped a bunch ice in the water to cool it down OR he said we have an air force, if they could fly around the hurricane in the opposite direction and create ...yes he said vortex lol.
It reminded me of another idiot that used a magic marker to alter the path of the hurricane, or he suggested nuking them lol.

There are tons of idiots saying the government used HAARP to create this hurricane because blah blah.

I posted the below following science on another thread
^
This goes back to what Herschel Walker was trying to teach everyone a few years ago. The overall condition hasn't changed, China just stole our good clean air and sent their bad dirty air to America.

The same science works for the "global warming" it is getting hotter everywhere on land, it seems, while the ocean is getting cooler, to keep everything balanced.

Them scientist need to quit whining and get busy with figuring out while ocean is taking in all the needed cool air and exporting it's own hot unwanted air to land.

The spooks are out in full force it looks like.

Is that what the lithium post above is about?

If the conspiracy theory crowd needs something to hide under their tin foil hats, there are two companies out of action that refine high quality QUARTZ, not lithium. It's essential for tech components but isn't close to the same thing. Oddly, those companies have said they'll return to operations when it's safe for their employees to do so.

All that Quartz Lithium Quartismic wordage is just some fancy talk they use to double the prices

So many nut jobs fueled by some of the media. There is one of the nut jobs on Fox saying if the government won't protect us, we have people like this guy Greg Biffle flying his helicopter rescuing people. Hell, they have the guard, FEMA, all kinds of volunteers in copters etc.
There's never enough manpower. There wouldn't be if the entire Army showed up. Even if they did, there's the question of effectively managing them. Agencies from outside the affected areas are welcome but there are only so many available locals to show them the back way around the flooded bridge or know where the Jimson family of diabetics lives. Sometimes there are more material donations than the relief agencies can manage, and only a limited number of vehicles capable of delivering it the Last Mile.

It's not like private volunteers and agencies weren't leveraged for emergencies during Republican administrations. There's nothing new or unique about this.

Sidebar: There's no toilet paper on the shelves here. Anyone else hearing crap about another butt wipe shortage because the commie pinko dock workers union won't unload it from the ships? Newsflash: even if the dock workers HADN'T gone back to work already, TP doesn't come in on a boat. It's made here in the US. And even if it was shipped in, why would it be the only product affected?

People should be required to take a 40-hour training course and pass a test for a license before they're allowed on the web.

About 30 miles from me is Kimberly Clark, they are all over the U.S. lol. I am disappointed though, I wanted to see a wrestling match between two housewife's over a 6 pack of Charmin.

It's ignorance man. Just plain old fashioned ignorance.

We have access to unlimited information and research at our fingertips and somehow society becomes dumber with each passing hour.

They could legit look up the reasons Hurricane Helene managed to stay as strong as it did that far inland and why it took that unusual path. It has everything to do with the speed the storm traveled and that low pressure system that was sitting over the midwest.

Access to unlimited information and we get "the government created the hurricane to kill Trump supporters" (in the known MAGA hotbed of Asheville🙄).

It's as simple as going to the National Weather Service site, but they are trying to get rid of that. :idunno:
