NFL 2024-2025

A 67-yard bomb TD pass from Stroud to Nico Collins puts the Texans up 14-3 over Buffalo.

Good tight games going down to the wire between Bills / Texans and Ravens / Bengals.

The Texans blow their first opportunity to set up a game-winning FG, then get another when the Bills go 3-and-out and win it with a 59-yarder. Josh Allen completed 9 passes on 30 attempts in this game.

Jackson fumbles a snap setting up the Bengals to win in OT. But then the Bengals miss a FG, and King Henry busts a long one to give the Ravens a chip shot FG to win it 41-38. The Bengals fall to 1-4.

Surprisingly competent performance by the Giants today. Very efficient game from DJ, and the game was not as close as the score indicates after the 14-point swing on the fumble return from the goal line to open the game.

I thought the Cardinals were being too conservative to essentially sit on the ball and take a FG and one-point lead with 1:40 to go, but it worked out with a huge pass rush forcing a Purdy interception. Great win for the Cards, more disappointment for the Niners.

At this point, is there really a team you could say “Watch out for these guys?” I mean, Vikings and Chiefs are undefeated, but does that mean anything? KC hasn’t looked great in their wins and should we really expect Sam Darnold to take Minnesota all the way? I know we are only in week five, but I think it’s more wide open than it’s been in quite some time.

The 1-loss teams all haven’t looked too spectacular either. However, I would say that the fact the Chiefs are 4-0 without Mahomes playing to his best abilities should strike fear in some. The Rice injury might cap how much better that offense can get though.

They really haven’t. Washington is putting up some points, but they haven’t exactly been playing great teams, so it’s hard to judge. True about KC, but they’ve gotta pick things up a bit. But they have seemed to find ways to win when it matters, so I suppose they’ll be fine.

The Cowboys would have dominated this game without the turnovers, but unfortunately for them, turnovers make all the difference.
