Cup RACE thread --- Talladega

I still just can't believe Larson got a top 5 at Talladega while the entire playoff field got annihilated.

That **** just doesnt happen.

Must have made the 47 a little lighter than everyone else. ;) :owquitit::punkrocke
When the 2 knocked a dent in the 47's door, it gave Stenhouse an aero advantage. Stenhouse was bloodied. There was no catching Stenhouse after that. A pissed off Stenhouse is a fast Stenhouse. Haulin the groceries.

Give Larson his well deserved 2nd championship at this point. Most wins of the gen 7 era, most top 5s, second most top 10s, by FAR the most laps lead, 3rd best average finish...

But most importantly? Top 5 at Talladega? Onto 2025 ya'll
There shall be no victory laps for Larson after you gave up last week and waved the white flag deeming him dead lol

I thought that was the week before? Or was it the week before that?

It was definitely last week. Was also a few weeks before that. Throughout the season too. Maybe last year and the year before. ;)

I don't even believe the **** I'm saying, it's just more engaging being emotional. Why let myself be reasonable when I could be irrational and reactive?

Garbage.... the entire DVP crap is just that. The tire package is junk and the rules they use to enforce some nonsensical vision they have. Xfinity is better and the Trucks are much better. They need to eliminate this panzy attitude of parking cars. Miss the days when the crew worked feverishly to get a car back on the track no matter what... Earnhardt's flip and Mark Martin's tin panel T Bird come to mind....would love to have that type of racing back.

Wouldn’t those be a NASCAR mandated safety item, and as such a car cannot “run” without it?
