How would Deegan capitalize on this turn of events?

Devlin is back with RLL, hooo boy:

Not an ideal situation for RLL with HyVee leaving, but you have to find a way to make do with what you can. Hopefully Vips decides to move on with his career now. It ain’t gonna happen at RLL. Might be time to aspire towards sports cars.

Don’t want to put too much pressure on Louis Foster so soon, but I think RLL are going to need him to grow up in a hurry out of necessity.

Pietro Fittipaldi has been through a lot and keeps pushing. There is something pretty inspiring about how he doesn’t give up, no matter what gets thrown at him.

Unfortunately none of the ovals are night races, or even so much as twilight races. Can’t complain too much though, given the overall increase in exposure.

Penske used this as a primary hauler starting (I think) when Donohue was his driver. It was famous for being cutting edge...hauling the car inside, etc. Not sure how long he used it. Maybe a decade or so. It was very well known at the time and was dubbed the Blue Hilton because it was so fancy for its time.

Not an unfamiliar look if you follow PREMA in any of the numerous junior series they compete in, but a great look nonetheless. They’ve also retained Grosjean as a reserve driver and he’s aiming to compete at Indy in a third entry - subject to Chevy engine lease availability, of course.

You boycott an entire network?
I don't boycott it. Boycotting is an active action, as is ignoring.

When I'm looking for something to watch, I scan my app's guide. There's usually something on TCM or the four PBS networks we get that interests us before we check the commercial broadcast networks. I never see anything listed for Fox's networks that I'm interested in seeing, so I scroll on. Indeed, other than NASCAR and golf, there's very little we watch on any of the broadcast networks.

Disinformation is not news. Misinformation is worse. Fox blatantly lied, repeatedly, about Dominion Voting Systems.

Those lies cost the Fox empire $787.5 Million … outside of the bubble.

I have nothing further to add in this section of the forum. If you wish to continue, send a PM to a moderator and request access to The Podium. We can pick it up there.

Have a pleasant Sunday evening.

I'm not sure why you went down that road in this discussion, since it clearly is Podium material.

What amazes me again and again isn't that people claim Fox News is partisan - because it clearly is partisan.
Okay, I'll go there.

What amazes me is the people who can't tell news reporting from (often unsupported) opinion, regardless of their preferred source. I recall reading most of the so-called 'news networks' have less than four hours of actual news coverage each day. Some folks watching those networks may never see any reporting, only hot air. But let's keep in mind the purpose of news networks is to make money, not cover the news.

Me? The AP app on my tablet and left-leaning PBS on my radio; and yes, I'm a member. Local news from the Wilmington NC Star's app, a branch of USA Today.

Tony Donohue said there’s rumors of Tom Brady and Jimmie Johnson teaming up to co-own a fourth CGR entry at the Indy 500 with Sebastien Bourdais at the wheel. I guess we’ll find out soon enough if it’s legit. With Brady calling the Super Bowl and the Borg-Warner expected to be there we should know within the coming weeks.
