Sammy Swindell has always been one of my heroes, good interview. Kevin was carrying the torch forward as a driver and now a Chili Bowl winning car owner. They both have done tons for the sport.

Good racing. Those are the three best guys in tonight’s field racing it out up front. Blake Hahn is always good here and rebounded nicely.

I think because the track has been pretty consistent this year, a lot of teams are getting the right setups.

They're also not able to use the trick chassis anymore, so there's likely a little more standardization between cars than before.

I think they can still get lite using other pieces though.

3 wide in the final lap, I thought Bell had it going into three one lap from the end but Thorson drove a perfect corner.

Best night thus far. My buddy who sits on the front stretch 3 rows up had his seat mate need to bounce before the feature started, so I wound up there for all the action. Everyone figured it would be Bell running the bottom. We were all rooting for Tanner by the end of it just because it's more fun seeing someone else who isn't Larson or Bell win. And he drove a helluva race to do it too.

Just fantastic racing and a surprise outcome. Good for Bernal, he's been really good here for years now.

Lol I will just point out that part of Bernal's "bad luck" was wiping out McDougal during what was looking like it would be the most epic Soup run of all time.
