The Announcers Thread

Adam Alexander, Jamie McMurray and Parker Kligerman will call the Xfinity Series races on CW Sports.

Dillon Welch and Kim Coon pit reporters. Carla Gebhart, whoever that is, will be hosting CW's pre-race show.

Races produced by NASCAR Productions in collaboration with The CW.

Fox, meanwhile, has announced its IndyCar booth, with Will Buxton leading PxP. It was heavily rumored Allen Bestwick would lead Fox IndyCar.

So, we have:

FOX - Mike Joy, Clint Bowyer, Kevin Harvick
Prime/TNT - Adam Alexander, Steve Letarte, Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
CW - Adam Alexander, Jamie McMurray, Parker Kligerman
NBC - Leigh Diffey, Steve Letarte confirmed. Haven't seen confirmation that Burton's back.

Hinch is a must-have for FOX next year. He has good chemistry with T-Bell as well so I wouldn’t mind if they brought him over as well.
Yes, it has been confirmed that Will Buxton, James Hinchcliffe, and Townsend Bell will serve as the broadcast talent for FOX’s inaugural season. I am a big fan of Hinchcliffe. I think he is an outstanding commentator and it is exciting to see him returning to IndyCar full-time as an announcer for 2025.

In his recent interview, he shared his journey from discovering his love for motorsport to becoming a professional driver and transitioning to broadcasting. He discussed the challenges of commentary, his passion for the sport, and his future plans. With his expertise and charisma, he has become a standout voice in motorsport. This interview is a must-read for his fans!

Stupid question: if Fox owns Tubi, why hasn't it been streaming its NASCAR coverage on it? I recall several people complaining Fox didn't have a streaming service.

As usual with streaming, I may have misunderstood.

Oh, I think it was a party of one. Some of us have a pretty good idea of future clusterpucks.

That's what I recalled. I can't say I'll miss either one. Mikey is trying for the NASCAR Shill HOF.
Oh yeah if it's Jamie with Harvick and Logano like it says that should be a massive improvement of quality...even though Fox really isn't hiding they aren't actually at the track for trucks usually.

Not sure if Logano is just for the opener or if he'll be there full time. Good to have him for however long.

I think Harvick and Logano both will only be calling the Daytona truck race only. I could be wrong. Calling races from a studio won't start until Fox hands over the Cup broadcasts to another network.

So now I have to have Max to do Cup Series radios and video and I have to have the NASCAR app in order to do the other two national series?

No one is making anyone sign up for the in-car package. I think that complaint is a little over the top.

Peacock requires a subscription. I'm paying nothing for NBC NASCAR races right now.
Why would I want to pay?

If you have cable, you're set.

My point is, I'd rather be able to pay for a Fox standalone service, Peacock, Max and Prime because the combined total of the four will still be cheaper than YouTube TV or Fubo or Hulu Live.
