The included photo demonstrates the reasons for the recent anti rain vortex failures.
Note how the vortex isn't directly over the racing groove. It also isn't tight enough to form a proper rain wall.

The hot rumor online is that NASCAR isn't going to Mexico City anymore this year and might instead be having a third Daytona event on the road course. Gee, I wonder what could have happened?
