All that with a ~ $7M NIL roster.Thankfully I'm old enough to have seen three IU national championships because memories are all we have.
They are absolutely pathetic.
It ain't the talent on the floor. They're very talented. All that with a ~ $7M NIL roster.
Idk what the answer is at this point. Take a stab at Will Wade maybe.
They certainly have the talent to be better than they actually are. Point being, expensive rosters don’t mean much if you don’t have the coaching to match. Arkansas is finding that out with Cal right now too. I never really understood the Woodson hiring to begin with, besides “Hoosier”.It ain't the talent on the floor. They're very talented.
First bid clinched goes to a first-time dancer.
Duke is staying on top by backing the Brinks truck up to recruits' houses (legally now). Is NC doing the same?Hubert Davis is on notice. Gotta go back the Tournament and make a deep run next season.
And left no doubt about it. Wow.First bid clinched goes to a first-time dancer.
Army is one of three OG’s around since the Tournament started who’ve never made it. There used to be four, but St. Francis (Brooklyn) shut down athletics after the ‘22-‘23 academic year. Army is a pretty unique case in that they had both Bob Knight and Coach K a few years each as well, although when the field was smaller.Interesting to see the list of teams to never make it. Army probably being the biggest name.

Tracking the teams that have never made the men's NCAA tournament
In the long history of the men's NCAA tournament, a field that has now grown to 68 teams, there are still a number of programs waiting to participate in their first March Madness.www.ncaa.com
Being a one bid conference and knowing how bad some of these teams are it doesn't surprise me how many America East teams have never made it, I mean that conference has been UVM's to lose for 15 years now.
Duke is a machine for sure, Flagg is obviously a generational talent but Knueppel is really freaking good too. UNC can recruit well but not #1 class each year like Scheyer is doing at Duke. I think UNC also whiffed in finding a good veteran big in the portal to replace Bacot.Duke is staying on top by backing the Brinks truck up to recruits' houses (legally now). Is NC doing the same?
