A lot of people like it. A lot of people don’t.He was doing fine after he won the race, crowd was cheering and all, but then he pulled out the flagTalk about hilarious lol. At least he didn't wreck somebody on purpose or jump the start and B.S. about it this time.
Denny Derangement is a real thing. It's hilarious to me how "triggered" some people are by Denny. He does a lot of things for laughs and clearly, a bunch of people don't get the joke. Context is easy to overlook when outrage is the play of the day.
You bit. He won. 11 Against the World. The reason I hate Hamcrap is that he really buys into himself, is obsessed with himself, is a classic narcissist, and races that way. He runs people up the track, wrecks others and calls it everyone else’s fault…or takes zero blame. Stands there talking like a child putting on his “innocent” face. His embrace of the “heel” is driven by the attention he gets from it. Certain things he’s said in interviews is revealing. When a tv show conducted a tour of his home, you could see how possessed he is with himself. Between the endless photos, car showroom and me Me ME exhibits, not sure how his kids have any sense of their own worth. Then he goes on to say that “a NASCAR championship won’t define him if he never wins one”.! BS…it burns him when he can’t pull those off. I hope he never wins one for that very reason. A narcissist MUST have control, must have the world all about him. Zero championships would haunt him forever…so I hope he remains haunted. JMO.
Now, his life, home, family, that’s all his own business, But Harvick was right to call his azz out on his pathetic banner.
Agreed, and you can draw a line between those who like him and his show, and those who don't and don't like his show. He has engaged everybody, and that is not a bad thing.A lot of people like it. A lot of people don’t.
Your new boy gets cheers now. How is that working for ya?Yeah man, all of those boos from the crowd are really cheers to Hamlin fans.
100%....and the haters don't understand that they have been had. It's hilarious to me how "triggered" some people are by Denny. He does a lot of things for laughs and clearly, a bunch of people don't get the joke. Context is easy to overlook when outrage is the play of the day.
He might just want to concentrate on the one if Darlington is any example. Remember when a Cupper doing that would piss you off? Those were the days.Larson is going for all three.![]()
He doesn't care. You get that, right. Ole Rowdy used to be the same in the good ole days when he actually won stuff. He was doing fine after he won the race, crowd was cheering and all, but then he pulled out the flagTalk about hilarious lol. At least he didn't wreck somebody on purpose or jump the start and B.S. about it this time.
He came over to the bright side where there are unicorns, flowers, cheers and dirt.He might just want to concentrate on the one if Darlington is any example. Remember when a Cupper doing that would piss you off? Those were the days.

You don't know him as a human being. My deal is that I can't pretty much stand him as a human being.
Spends more time talking about the stuff that matters weekly than any other driver I can think of. Ego and all. I'll take it. So, interesting on KB.....stops winning because he was humbled and became a family man. Got it. I understand now. Go Denny.Nope, Hamcrap has nothing on me. He can live however…doesn’t affect me one bit. I’m simply a racing fan, speaking to his crappy wrecking of drivers, his smug self defense when doing so, and how it all relates to his narcissistic personality disorder. Maybe he could become a spokesperson for that mental illness, but then he’d have to admit his obsessive compulsive focus on himself is a problem, and NPD’s can’t do that without serious therapy first.
NASCAR has been an enabler of his behavior for years (for some unknown reason). Evidence: his wild reactive antics toward Chastain at the first race at WWTR St. Louis. Swerving, slowing radically, targeting, multiple times. He put other drivers in danger and broke multiple rules, but did NASCAR do anything? Had he been seriously chapped it might have ultimately helped him. Or if some driver eventually punches his big mouth hard enough it might adjust some attitude (and teeth). But he keeps getting away with it, projecting himself as this wise sage of the sport…pontificating on all things from the royal Hambone throne. Puke.
Frankly he needs to get over himself, quit pulling s#*+ like KDB did, and just focus on racing well (and clean) towards earning a championship. Busch had to see his act wasn’t getting him anywhere with sponsors or helping him win. I think his search for a new team humbled him, and forced him to focus on the most important part of his life…his family. He’s still fussin and cussin, but he has a plan for his son and for his remaining racing career. It doesn’t require him to pout at the TV cameras and imitate crying fans…and that is refreshing for him, and for us.
But I don’t expect Hampig to follow suit. KDB’s stuff rose from his fiercely over competitive nature. He thought it helped fuel him, and maybe to some degree it did. Mr. “I Wanna be MJ” Denny is genuinely pathological. His podcast only reinforces his sense of grandeur while fueling that immense selfish ego within.
So yes, I enjoy his many mistakes that snatch defeat from victory, love it when he wrecks (and is not injured, don’t wish that on anyone), and when he loses. I despise how he races others and how smarmy he is doing it. If this is all one big act, and his self-worshipping home and activities are all to just “get those stupid racing fans who can’t appreciate greatness”, it’s a hell of a lot of faking to achieve such a pathetic accomplishment.
You don't know him as a human being.
The ole "friend of a friend" thing. Got it. Who gives a **** really? I am not rooting for Denny as a life coach. No different than Rowdy. Is he a changed man? No. Is his brand different? Yes. Many fans bite on that crap. Two in a row for Denny....let's get three and he is the greatest Toyota driver for me for another week. I don't give three ****s about who he is or what he does other than that as long as he isn't hurting anybody.I know people who know him. He's a douche, 100% confirmed
You apparently? Calm down or I will give you the Bobby Ford passive aggressive answer....it's OK to disagree...after I start the S*hit lol. .The ole "friend of a friend" thing. Got it. Eh.I know people who know him. He's a douche, 100% confirmed
