If Angel is looking like the MVP why wasn’t she selected as a starter in the all star game?

As for the rest of this tirade, I've told you this before, but I really think you pay way too much attention to all the off court/social media stuff, and it shows. You seem pretty miserable and negative up here most of the time. This is basketball. It should be fun to watch and talk about, not upsetting.

If it's bothering you that much, stop watching it, or just take a break and come back to it later. It's not going anywhere.

I'm likely going to buy a Minnesota Lynx or Phee shirt and a Lexie Hull shirt. Which of these two Lexie shirts do we like better? Both come in navy blue and light gray. I would probably get the first one in navy blue and the second one in light gray.

Both of these are officially licensed and are from 500 LEVEL, which sells some dope sports and wrestling shirts. I bought a few WWE shirts from them a while back and love them.
 
One thing I noticed in Chicago-Dallas highlights... Chicago celebrating when Paige Bueckers scored.

You cannot tell me these players play Paige the same way they play Caitlin.

Interesting that most of y'all are going for shirt 1. I like the pictures on 1, but I like the overall design of 2 a little better, and I like the animated picture, too. 🤔

I'm gonna go with whatever you guys collectively pick. I'll wait for @FLRacingFan, @Hotrod, and anybody else who may want to weigh in.
 
I finished the Valks/Fever game. Overall, I didn't really see the overwhelmingly egregious officiating that I was expecting, and I was looking for it.

CC definitely got grabbed by her jersey once, which I acknowledged yesterday. My girl Veronica Burton (who played really well) got in her path and bumped her as she was coming up the court. VB then immediately wrapped her up, and the whistle blew. I might have challenged that call where Sophie got whistled for something while guarding Tiffany Hayes, but Coach White didn't.

The Fever were pretty sloppy, and Lady Luck was definitely on the Valks' side. Every time Indy would kinda start making a run, they would turn it over or miss a good look, and the Valks took full advantage. Indy got the margin to within 5 points in the third quarter and then proceeded to just cough it up.

Full credit to the Little Valkyries That Could. They're a group of scrappy hustlers who play hard every single game and do their level best to keep their opponents honest. They did their thing, played good D, and got a nice road win in a tough building to do it in. Coach Nakase has them playing above and beyond themselves. I love them.
 
I don't like the 3-guard lineup that White used against the Valkyries. How many of the mind-boggling passes did you see from Clark since she wasn't handling the ball as much. I would rather see Hull in the starting lineup. The whole Fever offense was off with the new starting lineup. Also, the team just didn't play as a team, shots were taken that should not have been. One of Clark's strengths is passing, why take that away from her.

Yeah, I was confused as the announcers went through the Fever's starting lineup. Then I looked up at the Valks starting lineup and saw that they went small, too. That's why Coach White went small, to try to match up better with them. It didn't quite pan out.

The announcers brought up a good point - CC's been in and out for 4 or 5 games straight with these two injuries, and they play completely different styles with and without her. That's pretty jarring for a new group that's still working on building chemistry. I didn't think about that when I talked earlier about them being able to weather the storm of losing her due to their talented roster.
 
Y'know, CC sells more than enough merch, but I kinda want to buy a CC shirt now, too. I think it would be cool to be able to say that I have both a CC shirt and a Reese shirt when I claim neutrality.

I was almost inclined to get one of those "Tres Leches" shirts like Sophie Cunningham wore, with her, CC, and Lexie on it, but that word "leches" has so many different meanings, one of them really unfortunately sexual in nature, so I'll pass. (I know that's not at all how they mean it, but nah, I'm good.)

Plus, sports shirts become obsolete quickly enough when there's just one player on them. Adding more players just adds a multiplier onto that likelihood. I've already found that out the hard way.
 
The WNBA Store is doing a 25% discount on select merch today, and I remembered that I had a gift card to use. Just got a Lynx shirt (just a generic one with the team logo) and this CC shirt that I knew I had to have the second I saw it. ❤️

Definitely still gonna get one of those two Lexie shirts as well from 500 LEVEL's site, whichever one y'all decide on. If it ends up being a tie, I'll break it and get shirt #2.

I'm excited that I will soon have more than one W shirt to wear that's actually current. We locked in now, CC! 😁

The first one is a little ‘loud’ for my tastes but I really like the second one.

Right now, I'd say Napheesa Collier and Aliyah Boston are the MVPs, but Angel Reese is in the top-10 if not top-5 right now. A'ja Wilson will also be in the top-3 in MVP, though, as good as she is, I have to give the edge to Collier, then Boston. Paige will also be in the conversation.

As for Most Improved, that's definitely Angel. Not close. Not debatable.

The biggest knock on her is that it's essentially the same thing as last year. She's putting up great numbers and gets a guaranteed double-double, but her team still isn't winning.
