I have to go with Ross Chastain here. Driver error on pit road twice, and whatever that was on the last lap, eliminating himself from the playoffs.
Chastain for repeated errors. The last lap wreck, and run was as bad the one that got Austin Dillion cucumbered for Richmond in 2024.
There should be some disciplanary penalties. Something like a two lap penalty at the start of the next race, plus the loss of pit selections for several more races.
There is hard racing and then there's idiotic moves the one yesterday is not even dabatable. A punitive and corrective message needs to be sent, not just to Chastain but to everyone.

I like Ross, but what went down on Sunday is definitely penalty worthy. I think the discussion would be much different today if Ross’s late race theatrics got him into the next round. I want to add FTR that I would have preferred Chastain eliminating Lagano if he could have made a clean pass, but he didn't, so I stand by my previous postChastain for repeated errors. The last lap wreck, and run was as bad the one that got Austin Dillion cucumbered for Richmond in 2024.
