Tony Stewart yesterday at the Chili Bowl when asked why Daytona? He said his wife Leah asked the same thing with a failure rate of 85% of not finishing the race she asked why Daytona?
Stewart said Dodge told him to pick any race he wanted to race in so he said Daytona because the Trucks had changed so much since he raced one and at Daytona the technology isn't in play as much.
