Definitely more humid down south makes it feel relatively cooler. Up here, the air is like sharply dry and sometimes painfully dry up here in the cold.

We had a few weekends this month where it was only 9 degrees, but -10 with a wind chill. Was dangerous. We have another 2 feet of snow coming tomorrow with winds well over 35mph. It cracks your skin. Basically shower in moisturizer.
