Legge to drive the glen

Caught up a bit on Jr's podcast and listened to the BJ McLeod podcast. What a great story. He seems like a great guy. I did not know how successful BJ was at late models, and how long he'd been trying to race at this level. Katherine Legge is a fantastic driver, especially for age 45. She's grinded out quite a nice career across soooo many forms of racing.

Definitely rooting for this team. A fan favorite story, for sure.

Just hate that she never got a solid ride in sportcars after the Deltawing. IMO, that is where females should work toward in auto racing. Get more respect than the other series.

Respect from who? I think the fans actually do a good job embracing female drivers in nascar. Honestly I'm hoping for a successful one, it could be big for the sport. In nascar it seems like sponsors and teams don't respect them, they only want to put "pretty" drivers behind the wheel.

When it came to talent I dont think Danica and Johanna Long were even close to the same level, but look which one got pushed.

The scanner convo after the race was pretty subdued. Got the impression team was pretty disappointed with their finish. I mean, I'm sure they were happy she brought the car home essentially undamaged but maybe expected better finish. Biliki was a thorn in her side the whole race. Without his influence quite possibly a mid 20's finish.
