At speedweeks arca had less than 12k in stands, shootout less than 30k, duels less than 35k, trucks less than 30k and xfinity about 45k. Attendance was down for all races except for the 500. I should have a clearer picture by the end of the week.
Last year I was told monster was going to step up their activation game in the 2nd half and in 2018. So far it looks the same except for maybe the Hollywood monster report.

Daytona racing and hobbies which has been in business for over 25 years is closing their doors. Daytona used to have about 12 stores in the mid 2000's. Now there are only 2 who sell nascar merchandise.
Dale jr didn’t race and he still received the loudest cheer. Chase was 2nd and Kyle received the most boos. Saw a lot of people wearing Jr tees. Chase had the longest line at the trailers.
