I can no longer paste text with color.

It looks like this is an intentional "feature" of the new editor. http://xenforo.com/community/threads/a-new-editor-and-much-much-more.50519/ I'll see if there's a way to get it to keep color from pastes In the meantime, you might be able to use a Word document converter to turn it to HTML...

If you haven't already noticed, here are a few of the nice new features we get from the upgrade earlier this month Conversation Management Improvements Watching a Forum A new editor I've updated the Posting part of the Guided Tour to reflect the new editor buttons

    How you can help

I've had so many people ask about it that I've put information on how to donate here: http://racing-forums.com/pages/donate/ Everyone's contribution, whether big or small, financial or otherwise, is greatly appreciated and is the reason we are still standing. We choose to provide a better forum...

That one might be trickier than the trick I pulled off. I'll see what I can do. :beerbang:

The site map I've put in there is pretty much a duplicate of the "Quick Navigation Menu" that pops up when you click that little button on the right side of the bar where it tells you Forums > Such and such > Name of the Forum (I call it the breadcrumb bar). I've been wanting to get that...

Thanks, folks :beerbang: Also, I'm trying out a new thing, a general site map at the bottom of every page. Let me know if I should change something about it.

Well, I don't know what else to call that button :D It's pretty much the only button Chrome has on that end of the browser, so I figured hamburger button is descriptive enough No browser is perfect. They all try to be everything to everybody, trying to load up everything so that they have it...

It would seem IE is indeed the problem. I will see if XenForo can provide a solution to the editor automatically grabbing the cursor and scrolling the page down to it. In the meantime, I'd suggest sticking with Chrome. I don't know that a whole lot can be done to work around IE's problems. If...

I'll still look into it, just may take some time for me to fire up the PC...actually I may have better luck just throwing a new Windows install onto my Mac. I'd recommend Chrome in any case, if possible. I don't see Microsoft doing anything particularly worthy in IE 10 that makes it a better...

Trying to tackle this now. In what way did it remember before that it does not now? For instance, if I click on a thread that has new posts in it, it jumps straight to the first one I haven't read yet, so that's where I came up with the "this should still work". If it isn't doing that for you...

I'll see if I can fire up my old PC and get IE 10 running and try and track it down. My first uneducated guess is that the authors of the text editor decided to reduce functionality on lesser browsers. Quick question, are you running ie 10 in any compatibility modes?

I think I've figured out how to make that work now.

While there is still a dearth of 1.2-compatible styles (or, most notably, 1.2-compatibility in the 2 styles we were using before, Aurora and Flexile), I have found a neat-looking one that might suffice for people tired of the old XenForo colors. Check out "Whisper 2"

For sure. Bugs me that they picked that as a default font for the posts. In pretty much every other sense, this forum software is so ahead of the curve. I aspire to program something this elegant in my lifetime. I'll play around with it here in a bit. :beerbang:
