Todays blown engine was just awful. Will drop Vickers from 8th in points to at least 14th but maybe as far as 17th or 18th. Just horrible.

Just eyeballing it, looks like he will fall at least 6 spots, if not 8 or 9. He could go in today 8th in points and leave in 17th because of a bad engine. And that just sucks.

It could change alot of things. Look at the level of support Verizon throws at Penske in Indycar. And its completely reasonable that they dont want to sponsor outside of Sprint cup, it is the headline series that gets the most exposure afterall. You are being very obtuse here.

It is pretty unreasonable, actually. It is a form of monopoly. And it actually hurts the sport because it takes an entire industry out of the sponsorship pool, and a very high profile industry with deep pockets at that.

That would have been like Lowe's not allowing teams sponsored by Menard's or Home Depot or Northern Tool and Equipment to have their sponsorship shown at races at Charlotte Motor Speedway when they had the naming rights to the track.

Title sponsor limiting other sponsors is something that needs to end, right now. Teams are having enough trouble finding sponsorship as it is and yet Sprint wont allow AT&T, US Cellular, Verizon, Boost Mobile, etc., all of whom would throw money at drivers, to sponsor cars. It is bull**** and...

Add four races. Add the two road courses in Canada(Mosport, Montreal), as well as 4 other road courses(Road America, Mid Ohio, New Jersey, Barber). Make it a straight 40 race season, no Chase. No tracks have two dates, add tracks like Iowa, Gateway, Milwaukee, Mansfield, Nashville, Memphis...
