I could picture him walking away if/when he wins #8. Drop the mike, go out as a legend on top and keep people wondering, "what if he didn't retire then?" Kind of like those that wonder how many more championships and wins would David Pearson have if he ran full time his whole career.

I got to witness that one first hand, I happened to look that way as the car was upside down and saw it slam the wall. TV doesn't do wrecks like that justice compared to seeing it live IMO.

He has the tendency to get emotional sometimes. That's why some call him a crybaby etc. Every driver on the track has the tendency to not act like an adult in some way, shape, or form during their career even each season.

People say that about Kyle Busch all the time. I don't hate him or anything like that but just pointing that out.

Exactly, he has just as much of a chance as anyone else. All he has to do is get a few stage points and finish ahead of Harvick the next two races, he doesn't even have to win a race unless someone below him does. Him advancing is in no way, shape, or form a long shot.

Because he's been the best all season long. He's won 7 races and is usually in contention for the win week in and week out. Kyle Busch has had a great latter half of the season, but Truex has ruled NASCAR this year. He deserves it more than anyone else.

The unfortunate thing is even though they've both been steller, the last lap of Homestead is the only one that matters. A lot can happen between the first and last lap. It'll be a shame if Truex doesn't take it but I wouldn't be surprised if both Truex and Busch get robbed by one of the others.

No joke, the two things that are guaranteed to start an argument are politics and religion. I'd rather talk NASCAR otherwise I'd be on a political forum or Facebook. I'd rather argue about whether JJ has a chance at the next round then why candidate X is better then candidate Y.

I defended Austin Cindric because he did what he had to do to win. Hamlin just couldn't pull off the winning part, which makes him look more dirty then the move really was IMO. Now if Hamlin won the race, some would say he won it dirty and then move on. Instead, the outcome was that he gained...

Still parked him, that's what I mentioned in another post, drivers that were parked and/or suspended. Those were the two that came to mind. You can agree or disagree but the fact remains he was indeed parked.

They sure did, the reigns have been loosened up quite a bit over the past few years with "boys have at it!" I brought up those two because they were saying, "have at it but not like that" :rolleyes:
