For Kicks: What is your final four?

    1. MTJ- essentially locked 2. Larson- unless he chokes hard during the playoffs, he's essentially locked 3. JJ- never count out that 48 4. Harvick- he's quietly had a very good season, and has been very consistent Alternates: Ky. Busch and BK

    SILLY SEASON 2018

As long as it's not a Japanese company, then the tinfoil hats would really come out whenever a yota won :D

    SILLY SEASON 2018

I think they're a better fit as a title sponsor then Sprint was but bringing in more fans wasn't in the cards from the get go IMO. The best stock car drivers competing in NASCAR's premier series brought to you by Sprint might as well have been brought to you by Bounty paper towels and napkins...

    SILLY SEASON 2018

I don't think NASCAR signed Monster just based on the money they offered, but the show and excitement they hoped they would bring back to the sport. Except for prerace activities for the fans at the track to take in, I don't see any difference but that's what I feel they were going for.

If they're willing to spend money and support the sport I could care less who sponsors races or cars.

Khane not in 5 next yr

I'm an alum and still get some of the magazine's and what not they did a feature on him this past year when he got the ride with JRM.

    Larson

I completely agree he will be successful, I just don't agree with calling him JG II

    Larson

I know that... but the win column says four with three at Michigan. That is all I'm saying. He needs to close the deal at more tracks before I will even begin consider him to be the next legend.

    Larson

Three wins at the same track though. That's incredible and shows his skill at a particular track but no variety. Gordon won at an array of tracks, everything from mile and a halfs to Daytona to Bristol in his first couple years. Like I said, he's extremely talented, but I need a couple of...

    Larson

Kyle Larson is a tremendous talent and will without a doubt be a future face of the sport but it's way to early to label him the second coming of Jeff Gordon.

    Toyota teams sandbagging?

Well unless NASCAR demands some changes on the Toyotas after today, BK did a great job of fitting his foot in his mouth...

Ranking the 11 Most Intelligent Drivers in NASCAR Today

Right!? I can't help but wonder why some of these guys stay mediocre where they are rather than risk a move when their contract is up. It could end up being the smartest thing they ever do. Truex and Logano are both prime examples of a move turning a career around.

I had no idea Hamlin's percentage was that good, he has quietly had a very good career. EDIT: Forgot about 2010...

Who is the next young gun winner?

LMAO Now it would be hilarious if he becomes the next MPD without a win. Ole Harv would have a conniption on his radio show if that happens:windows::D

Who is the next young gun winner?

While I agree it helps, he still has to suit up and do a good job in the car. If he crashed all the time or was just terrible he wouldn't be popular, that's what I was trying to point out. These guys gain fans by their talent first, having a successful dad is just a bonus.

Who is the next young gun winner?

So Blaney's fanbase can be attributed to Dave fans? Stephen Wallace wasn't popular, you have to be at least somewhat successful to have a fan base at all.

Wow, that's even worse. I didn't know that, last time I was in Charlotte was to visit the HOF, if I knew it would be closed, we'd have been sure to make time to stop by DEI.

I'd imagine one of the top performers in NASCAR with multiple championships. Its sad to see DEI as nothing more than a museum of what used to be...
