    Silly Season 2025

I don't think it's inaccurate to call JRM Hendrick's development program, so I stand by what I said. Rick's comment about letting others do the work ceased to be accurate about 15 years ago.

    Silly Season 2025

Who's putting more drivers into Cup than JRM is? Two of the four HMS drivers are fully home grown products and Bowman owes his job to his time at JRM, even though they didn't "develop" him.

    Silly Season 2025

Being " taken care of" is not the issue. I've got $100 that says if you could catch Corey in a non-PR moment, he's pissed that he's still dinking around in trucks and part time Xfinity instead of a full time Xfinity deal at the very least. Most drivers only have so long of a window to get to...

    Silly Season 2025

If he's great with it, it would be the FIRST driver I ever knew of. I would say he either has a really tight contract or every decent option wants him to bring a bunch of money.

Are NASCAR penalties determined by Reddit and X (Twitter)?

So nice to have Dale take a HARD stance on this. We need more of this kind of brutal honesty and less ass kissing in and around this sport.

    Corey LaJoie: Please Explain.

Sorry, my bad, I believe I attributed a quote to you by mistake. My apologies.

    Corey LaJoie: Please Explain.

No, the point is, you tried to throw shade at Matt because obviously you don't LIKE him, but he was getting results far and above anything Corey has been able to accomplish, so lumping the two together for any kind of comparison is kind of silly.

    Race Team Alliance Appreciation Thread

EXACTLY. Denny claims what a raw deal the teams are getting, but it didn't stop him from diving head first into to team ownership anyway. The same goes for Jeff Gordon who instead of bowing out of team ownership, got MORE involved. Look at the money Spire and Front Row have thrown around...

    Race Team Alliance Appreciation Thread

I'll agree that some of these teams do a VERY poor job of claiming poverty. I remember a quote attributed to Harry Ranier that said he only needed the race team to show a "paper profit" once every seven years to keep the bean counters and the IRS happy. I know several part time farmers that...

    AM Racing Scanner

My point about Joey is just maybe he's so good he can get a respectable finish out of a dumpster fire of a car, and I dislike Joey as much as any driver out there, but talent is talent. I think Hailie was PART of the problem there, but I am starting to seriously think she wasn't ALL of the problem.

I'm not going to defend her extremely poor results in that car, but Joey's finish at Chicago probably says a LOT more about Joey than it does AM. I think that team MAY be a lot worse than we thought.

    Corey LaJoie: Please Explain.

Not to hate on Corey, but Matt had two seasons in a row where he equaled or exceeded Corey's top ten numbers for a CAREER. You don't have to like him, but let's not pretend he was no good. I personally think Corey feels a LOT of pressure to get results and he is just pushing too hard in a car...

    Chicago Bonehead

They do things that are in THEIR best interest, not NASCAR, the teams or the fans. NASCAR SHOULD be the voice of reason that keeps them in check, but they sold their soul to the highest bidder 25 years ago.

    Chicago Bonehead

At some point you have to do what is right and what makes sense instead of whoring for every last dollar and going along with every stupid idea that comes down the pike. I question how effective they would be on a street course, but if it means the race can go the advertised distance, have at...

Looks like the Wood Brothers made a mistake

I'll play devil's advocate here and suggest that Corey has been over driving the car trying to get something that isn't there.

    Deegan update

I get your point and don't necessarily disagree, but I think it was the social media side that drove interest in her in the first place. If you take that away, does anyone want her at all?

Might be the end of Hooters in NASCAR.

I used to like Outback, but at least in our area, I don't think its as good as it used to be, and again, I think Texas Roundhouse offers more bang for the buck.

Might be the end of Hooters in NASCAR.

My wife LOVES Chicken Salad Chick. I don't touch ANY food product that has the word "salad" in it, so I have no opinion.

Might be the end of Hooters in NASCAR.

Longhorn is good and somewhat of a step up from Texas Roadhouse, but in my opinion Roadhouse offers better value for what you get.
