Agree with you here. Those championships come with a full time commitment to a series. What else is interesting is the time Larson spent with the “other” NASCAR team and it really wasn’t until 2020 that this whole Larson deal exploded.

I like the win and your in. It adds a lot of excitement/publicity/money for a team down in the standings to pull something like this off. Realistically, it doesn't matter if you enter the playoffs in any of the lower positions, you are not going to make it to the final four anyway. NASCAR...

It would be interesting to see some objective comparisons between Stewart and Larson. My recollection of Stewart is that during his career he was able to really focus on particular series. Larson is out there now just jumping from seat to seat and winning in whatever series/car he is driving...

I agree. Not sure if I qualify at the average fan level (banging my own drum, maybe a step up), but I can pretty much guarantee that I couldn't fully and correctly explain the entire points system through the championship round.

Don't lose track of the big picture. This is a win for "Toyota" regardless of the penalty. The publicity alone is probably worth millions of dollars...all at Denny's expense!

On Saturday you can do a free park and ride from Daytona lot 7. But, it takes a long time to get to the track and back to your vehicle. It would be OK if you don't want to tailgate or go to the midway and return to your car before the race. My suggestion for Saturday would be to just find...

Been to Daytona many times. You can usually find an easy way to upgrade your seats during the summer race. If I were going this year I would buy the cheapest ticket.
