Extra downforce on the driver side to balance out the car? Maybe this fiasco will result in these zoomed in shots being a thing of the past, so nascar doesn’t continue looking like the incompetent imbeciles they’ve become?
Suddenly Goodyear’s are blowing apart after going 5 races with almost no issues, I’m not buying it. At least they’re firing up their old wind tunnel for the first time in two years.
5, more of the same leader will always be the leader style of racing.
I mocked the ‘monster energy nascar cup series’ as being too wordy. It now makes perfect sense. Next year they can do nascar cup series presented by some company that cut us a couple million dollar check. Or rockauto.com nascar cup series, etc. and they don’t have to change much on the...
This is why the college football rankings, and every award that is voted on by an elite group of dumbasses are bull****. Gordon’s peak career barely spanned 5 years, and Johnson benefited from brain’s chase farce.
I don’t see the Sunday afternoon Vegas race being as successful as they hope it will be. They probably should have swapped it with Charlotte. That way the chase starts out in their largest market, and not during a cloudless 100+ degree day. Also the whole scheduling Atlanta and martinsville...
Well, looks like Kurt is done at the end of the year, and I’ll be shocked if jimmy is still around. Congratulations to Jhn and Custer on their new rides.
There is a difference between throwing phantom cautions just because and wanting the drivers to fight for positions. No one wants a demolition derby or 500 laps of restarts, we just want them to drive like they want to win.
Pretty much this entire season has been tame and lacking aggression. The gloves are never coming off. This is not the type of season nascar needed after juniors retirement.
One of the worst martinsville races I’ve seen, but the second best race of the season so far. Daytona is still the best.
8 on the grading curve scale. 18 years ago I had a 57% in macro economics going into the final, the grading curved bumped it up to a B. A lot of dreams and life goals were...
They also have one of the worst rain policy out of all the profession sports. No refunds, no exchanging, they don’t give anyone enough a time to resell their tickets, and they reschedule the races during a time not even the locals can make it. Then they wonder why only one race a year sells out.
Next question
How cold before the Goodyear tires lose grip? I know the pirrellis that came with my Camaro ss lost grip somewhere around 38 to 40 degrees.
Problem with heading to Texas, you will be visiting 4 of your worst races within a six week period. They have already shedded half of their audience since Daytona, now you going to replace a decent race at martinsville, with what will likely be a bad race at Texas, plus a week off for Easter...
Only 38 cars are showing up to a race in nascars back yard, at this point I’ll support anyone that wants to give it a go. 10 drivers, 60 drivers, come Sunday only the elite eight(2,4,11,18,22,42,48,78) will have a shot at winning.
They’ll likely take away a race or two from Dover, pocono, Indy, or Michigan, and give us 2 races at Iowa. Which helps me out a bit, since Kansas will no longer be the closest race from my house, thank god. But it won’t adress 33% of the problem, cookie cutters.
Been going to Vegas and Kansas off and on since the first day they opened their doors, and the only thing memorable about these two tracks, is Vegas is the first race I ever attended, and Kansas has a knack for severely injuring good drivers. Leaving the Kansas race last fall, my brother told me...
I’m watching English league soccer, or a tape delayed f1 race, waiting for the Vikings, twins, or race to start. It would be awesome if I could be watching a race in the 9 to 1 time frame instead.
