Purchased 16 Spruce twelve foot 2x4. $133 buckaroonies! 12 for rafter chord/loft. Rest for miscellaneous crap. Cut 24ish inches off 12 of them, now 119.5, to fit framing width of shed. I'm finding my lack of interest in the sport easier & easier to accept. Have to search every weekend to find where the coverage will be from. I turn it on, mute, go about my business. Not sure why I bother at all.

Woke up with back complaining. Got the OSB and one rafter precariously set. Not attached. Still think having 2x8 top plates is way to go.

Tomorrow toss the 3/4 OSB on and see if can reach. I'd think so. Those 2x8 are way heavier than I expected. Had to figure out a way to prop both ends up close to where I wanted it so only had to lift inch and screw it tight. Might pop a few nails in just to cover my arse.

Got nothing done but stirring this septic tank. Back went full Roberto Duran. No Mas! At least now know how/what will do. Need to glue/screw wedges on 4 more truss and add gussets. String 2x8's across framing and lay OSB on. Be loft'ish. Couple or 10 screws so nothing moves. If get those 4 or 5...

Found something I can do. Housecleaning. It finally occurred to me, have four 14 foot 2x8. Run them across structure and toss 3/4" OSB on for a scaffolding of sorts. So obvious. Maybe later today or next week?
