Kyle Busch to continue racing in NXS even after he scores 100 wins

I wonder how many fights Mike Tyson would have won if he fought in heavyweight, middleweight and lightweight? Probably be a record.

Gordon's Statement during the 600 is too telling

On the flip side, over at SHR, you have Harvick running decent, but he gets to compare setups with Briscoe, Custer and Almirola. I can't imagine that he gets much useful info there. Not like he did with Newman and Bush.

Aric Almirola is having one of the worst seasons ever by a top tier ride

You look at the Gibbs, Hendrick and Penske teams and the drivers are all fairly equal. Sharing setups and information elevates all of them. I can't imagine that the feedback Harvick gets from the other drivers on his team helps him a whole lot. More likely, Harvick's team gets their car set up...

Has Kevin Harvick (at age 43) Lost A Step?

Most teams share at least some information with their counterparts. Someone like Denny can get info from Kyle or Martin. Chase can get info from three other good teams. Joey, Brad and Ryan are all solid drivers on the same team. Harvick gets to pick the brains of Cole Custer , Chase Briscoe and...

    Bonehead of The Week: Kansas

I think it was the right call, waiting until the pitstops were done, I'm just not sure how clear NASCAR was about it to the teams. The announcers were fairly certain that they would wait until the end of the cycle. If NASCAR was clear and told all the teams that the tire was out of the way and...

    Daytona: wrecking isn't racing

I think that replacing the grass with pavement, like many other tracks have done, would, in some cases, have prevented some of the damage sustained by many of the cars. If a car spins down off the track and doesn't hit anything, it shouldn't get the whole front splitter ripped off and put them...

    Your collection

I had this Dale Sr. 1979 Sundrop rookie bottle and Dale Jr. rookie Budweiser can signed just before the 2001 Daytona 500. And I have a picture of me with them getting them signed

Johali's Rate the Cup Race --- Michigan, #1

8, That was cute when the shrub thought he could hold off Harvick and then whines when he gets run over.

    Texas Bonehead

Not sure why Harvick always has to have 4 new tires, even if he only has a handful of laps on the old ones. Puts him back in traffic every time where he seems to get stuck.

    Indianapolis Bonehead

Aric Almirola, for trying to push Kenseth past his own teammate on the overtime restart instead of trying to pass him.

Has Kevin Harvick (at age 43) Lost A Step?

Usually because of a bad, late-race pit stop. You could almost count on it happening at least once or twice a race.

NBC SHOULD BE ASHAMED for screwing up the Earnhardt tribute

Where the hell did that Rutledge guy come from? He' annoying AF and seems to be popping up everywhere. Does his family own NASCAR or one of the TV networks?

    What's your unpopular NASCAR opinion?

Can't wait for this season to be over so I don't have to hear that "recording artist" butcher Tom Petty's song anymore.

Get out of the way Logano

I was talking more in general about how Newman is notoriously hard to pass, not just one incident.

Get out of the way Logano

"That's just Newman being Newman". At least that's what they would say if it was him and not Joey.

    What's your unpopular NASCAR opinion?

Give the drivers all the horsepower they want, but cut the spoilers down to about 3 inches. I don't believe there should be a track on the circuit that a driver can hold the throttle down all the way around. Make them drive the cars!

Rate the Cup race --- Sonoma

3 Pretty boring. I watched a lot of it on fast speed.

First Memories Of Watching Cup Series

Wide World of Sports. They didn't broadcast the whole race back then. You only got a 20 minute segment of the show covering the race and you would have to sit through two other sports, like figure skating, etc., before you saw the racing.
