So true. I remember in the late 90’s and early 00’s every kid was a wcw or wwf fan. Kids would wear wrestling tees to school, we would have nwo vs dx in dodgeball. It was nonstop wrestling. At the ocean center they used to draw 16k. A few years ago I went to my first wwe event in 10 years. Only...

    DW to call it quits?

He’s been slipping the past few years. Getting quotes wrong, not as sharp as 5 years ago and forgetting things. It will happen to all of us. Watch Ken Squier call a few laps during throwback weekend. He was getting drivers hometowns wrong, drivers in the wrong town, he thought he was in...

Looks like Texas took some more seats away. There's a gap between the grandstand and the speedway club in turn 1. It looks like they took seats under the speedway club and added a bar/social area.

Homestead will have trouble filling up the place. You have the Rolex 24 which does a lot of promotion down south, the Daytona 500 a month before, 12 hours of Sebring, spring break, spring training and basketball.

Interest builds around possible changes to NASCAR schedule

A lot of businesses including my brother in law have been asking nascar to move he race from the July 4th weekend. Daytona is already packed with families visiting Daytona for July 4th. Moving the race gets more people in town and ends the summer in a bang.
