Jumping those cars like that -out on the track- it's really not that big of a deal.
We used to do stuff like that out on the back country roads when I was a kid, in my buddy's 1954 Chevy station wagon.

I remember when he first started out in IndyCar. You could count on him wrecking in ( literally) every single race.
But he turned out to be a pretty decent driver. It has really been enjoyable watching him over the years.
Happy Birthday (Saturday) to Jimmy Clark. Born 1936. In my book- the greatest race car driver, ever! He died tragically. But he won the Indy 500 on 1965. The year I graduated from high school.

I save the best for last. He was so nice and such a gentleman. I was so nervous when I took the shot as soon as I took it- he gave me a thumbs up. So that is not in the picture. But he's still such a great man.
