Greetings from Fort Worth! I'm not at the track, though. I didn't want to spend money on watered down racing, and I just spent a boatload of money to see Paul McCartney!!! the other day. Also, I just got home from work.

I've been busy at work lately, so that's why it's taken me so long to remind y'all that Texas Motor Speedway is in Fort Worth, and that Fort Worth is a metropolitan anchor. Thankfully, most of you recognize Fort Worth as a metropolitan anchor by now! :smile:

There goes yet another car that could've won the race. Kyle Larson... Kyle Busch... Ross Chastain...

Wild finish! It happened just in time... a storm is rolling through northern Fort Worth right now. My satellite TV went out in the middle of Chastain's interview. I do have an antenna, but it would've sucked to change inputs in the middle of the last lap.

Turns out, Cody Ware would've been a better pick than Daniel Hemric. Oops.

NASCAR is trying to restart this race... as they should.

So... drivers who stayed out get to restart up front but don't get scored up front? Or, do they restart in the position they ended the previous stage in?

Is it possible to use jet dryers on dirt tracks? If so, I'd like to see them dry the track. The rain might end in about 30 minutes.

No choose cone for Bristol dirt? Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I thought NASCAR brought the choose cone to Cup because it was popular at dirt tracks.

The dirt racing is fun so far, but dirt collecting on grills and non-competitive pit stops are bringing this race down. Bristol racing on pavement is also fun, and doesn't have these issues.

Was this an issue in the other races this weekend? (Dirt collecting on grills)

Christopher Bell ran a car sponsored by Yahoo this evening. Yahoo has been irrelevant to me since they quit hosting NASCAR fantasy racing. I find it ironic they're trying to enter NASCAR a few years later. I'm glad we found a new home to continue this league.

I see Yahoo is sponsoring a car... I vaguely remember that name. Does anyone else remember what Yahoo is?
