last year I sat in sec 339 before the trioval club. I paid $50 on stubhub but the face value was $85. The next sec over in 340 it was $125. That was the cost of my 2001 daytona 500 ticket. I miss having arca and the clash on the same day. They moved qualifying because it went from around 20k...
It’s hard for us to see how many people attended because they have so many packages for sale. At the start of the race the stands going towards turn 1 were packed. I think the Rolex 24 is the only Motorsport event that I can sell my tickets for way more or face value.
According to bob pockrass Dover attendance was down 13.1% for the fall weekend.
Also daytona removed some of the pit road patio. Not many seats but about 200.
