Either or. The game may not impact Bristol since a lot of out-of-towners come in for the race. BMS has almost completely abandoned the Knoxville market for advertising. No mentions of the race anywhere.

You'd think that. But it's not the case. It seems like most schools with the name "State" are the ones in the state capitals (i.e. Tennessee State in Nashville, Louisiana State in Baton Rouge, Michigan State in Lansing).

This is more about the director than the announcers themselves. The USA/NBC crew went out of their way to show and talk about the big pyro show at WWT. I remember last year when Fox had the race both Bowyer and Harvick talked about it. But they didn't show it except in a replay after the race...

I'm interested in seeing the attendance for this race considering Tennessee and Georgia are playing in a big college football game just 2 hours away. The game will be over before the race starts. The demand for tickets to the football game is high.

We won't know that until the NFL finally decides they're going to an 18th regular season game.

There are a number of drivers currently in Xfinity and Cup that have raced in ARCA within the last 5 or 6 years. It's just one avenue for a driver to get noticed. Back on topic, NASCAR's partners build the NextGen cars. I don't see those cars going to anyone that is not in the Cup series...

NASCAR used to start its season in mid-January at Riverside. But yeah, they're not changing that.

Contracts are made to be broken.

The charters were created to have the owners' teams actually be worthing something when it's time to get out. Look at Bud Ford, Junior Johnson, and others that had nothing to show for their years of working except for selling equipment for pennies on the dollar. I don't know NASCAR got involved...

You have to wonder if Gibbs will hang on to Denny after the circus he and Jordan have created over this charter deal, even though he has 2 years left on his deal. Jordan thought Gibbs was going to side with 23XI. And when they didn't, he had some bad things to say about JGR. Under that scenario...

If NASCAR wins this, I can see this being the end of 23XI racing given what Jordan had to say in those text messages. No wonder Reddick is looking to get out.
