My reaction to the race was positive. As far as Berry goes he was fast as a fill in driver at Hendrick & has shown speed for Penske. He’s done what needs to be done by winning a race so he’s made the playoffs. I don’t follow Berry but I see he’s 16th place in the driver standings 20 points...

It would be hard not to give a team who rolled off last & won the big brain but when you do it in a backup car there is no question!

I thought the race coverage was better than FOX but not significantly. I’m used to the gold standard of Ned, Bob & Benny ESPN’s coverage in the 80’s & 90’s.

9 Thoroughly enjoyed it & I liked watching Hocevar. I know he’s rubbed some people the wrong way but the kid is fast & a future winner.

You’re right as most women have the common sense to seek help while guys carry on. I’ve had really good luck with super glue with smaller cuts & gashes.

I’m going with Bubba Wallace & the Gibbs boy for not transferring from the open to the ASR. They have great equipment & resources which makes things even worse.

I’m not sure why Nascar would have nixed things as I figured all publicity is good publicity. They must had a reason that made sense to them.

IDK how much leverage NASCAR has with its broadcast partners but it appears the networks have some leverage with NASCAR. I can prove none of this.

Pockrass is tweeting early & often & I think I even saw a thing or 2 from Gluck. FOX is treating the Indianapolis 500 like it’s a big deal but Daytona gets the wicked step sister treatment.

I like the kid as you can see he has speed but he just needs to put things together. Of course I thought the Gibbs boy would would have won by now so take everything I say with a grain of salt.

I think any race you attend is a good race. In the gazillion races I attended I normally glanced at where the leader was but focused on battles in the field that the networks don’t show much of.

That sounds like a good day to me!

I’m awarding myself the large bonehead for not shutting off the idiot box early when it was clear the race would be a caution fest. If there was something redeeming about the race I’m not sure what it was.

3.5 I liked seeing some of the lesser lights run well. How about Legacy putting both cars in the top 10? I’m trying to be positive!

5 That is a good rating for me as I’m not a fan of the low horsepower momentum tracks. I liked the lack of cautions, the lack of big wrecks & no overtime! Happy for Cindric, Preece, Hocevar & Gragson for the good finishes! A good race day today!
