My post which was poorly explained is, even when close to the FD, sometimes they struggle to fight fires.

Finally changed the air filter on truck & put the plastic bracket back on the front of the air box. That bracket has been flopping around in the floor of the truck for 15 or so years. Procrastinator? Not me. Was attempting to put adapters in heater hose so could swap them to flush the heater...

Not sure the cold is gonna make it to my area. Maybe get to low 30's mid-week with rain. Maybe turn to snow. But since been in the 60's last week the snow won't last long.

Not to hijack but...I live less than mile from fire department in small trailer park (13 trailers). Took FD 10 minutes to respond to neighbor in middle of park and even THEN they had to lay nearly 1/2 mile of 6" hose as that was closest hydrant. No tanker. But we gonna have a Gold Plated Ball...

Free six drawer wooden thingie...my brain just quit. Dresser! Five minutes from home and she helped me load it! Not sure if use in shed (put wheels on it) or maybe drag the 4 story TV stand out and chop it up? And we see reason added side door to shed. Don't have to hurt myself climbing around...

Right at 70 degrees today and I did nothing. Went to bed last night just after 10PM & got up just after 11AM. Slept like the dead. LOVE IT!

Some seem to believe they will immediately start throwing stupid money around. Maybe. I'd hope the turndown of last 20 years taught them something. We shall see. I mean...how much can they spend on this stupid junk kit car? Can't test. Can't build parts. It's all computer sim. How much does that...

Could make the folding section with the removable part deep enough for miter saw. Interesting. Make it so just slide the miter saw in and bolt down. Or just build a couple box sections to set on when needed. Too many options.

And no, haven't touched the heater. Need some hardware to plumb the gas line. Also need to refill one of the tanks. Think will get a bulkhead connector to go thru the wall. Possibly build a lean-to type roof at rear wall to cover the propane tank, air compressor and possibly a dust collection...

This is how intend to build bench. Like that has the folding section. The saws have currently have inboard motor. Makes it slightly easier.
