Much like his Boss (and practically anyone who’s strapped on a helmet) he’s a competitor. Nothing gets to a competitor more than being that close and not getting it done. Bubba has two 2nd place finishes in the 500 so it’s become his quest to win it.

Led a ton of laps and had to check up on a nearly crashing Byron. Could have cleaned him out to help his finish, but gave up positions to NOT wreck any more cars.
