Dale and I will have to agree to disagree on that one. I think Cup racing at Bowman Gray is preposterous, and pointless.

Only so that I could be informed about what transpired, not for entertainment purposes, of which there were none. The same thing that applies with me to restrictor plate races. I watch only so that I know what happened., and most of the time I fall asleep two or three times while doing so.

But the second half more than made up for it. For the record, I have NEVER been a fan of races on a track shorter than a half mile, and that goes doubly for stock cars, so the whole premise is lost on me from the word go. Throw in arctic temps, a sleet storm. 100+ laps run under caution...
