    Joey Logano vs. Kyle Busch

I totally cool with what Kyle did on track. Sliced Bread was trying to make a pick out of the slow car, Kyle said "lol, no". Only Logono knows if he lost it in the corner out of anger or lack of talent. I'm totally cool with JLo using Brad as a pick too. I'm also cool with Kyle storming the...

With one major exception. Kyle took his helmet off.

    NASCAR, Rednecks & Millenials

It's millennial speak (coming from a boomer) meaning I Know Right. I picked it up from one of my kids, who always wore there seatbelts. Guess that makes me a helicopter parent.

IKR? It really sucks having to consider anyone but myself.

It's amazing to me, the lengths some of will go to justify rude behavior.

    points racing is back baby!

Really? Can you imagine the backlash if the 18 had pulled a bump and run on Kenseth? And Hamlin? From the fans and from those two drivers. I guarantee you if Kyle had moved the 20 and the 11 to make a run at the 48 this entire site would be filled top to bottom with threads about "the little...

NASCAR announces limit on Cup Series regulars in the Xfinity/Truck Series

I know that I'm in the minority here, but I predict a lot less interest by fans AND sponsors for these two series. For me the good old days are around 2008 when Kyle was winning the xfinity championship, and Keselowski was running over everybody. I'm not saying I won't watch or that I'm done...

Bonehead of the week: Kansas II

It has to go to the pit reporter who first called Kyle Kurt, and then tried to stir up stuff between Kyle and Carl, not once, but twice. I hate that soap opera bullspit.

    xfinity, I'm done

I like cup guys in Xfinity and trucks. I think the solution is to encourage more participation from cup guys, not less. It definitely drives my interest level up to have cup guys there. NASCAR should rescind their points in only one series rule, which in my not so humble opinion only serves to...

    xfinity, I'm done

I miss Chad Little, he was a favorite. I bought a John Deere lawn tractor and a chain saw because of that sponsorship. I still have some merchandise. From Spokane Washington I believe.....

Point Standings if there was no "Chase"

Most wins ever by any team in a season. We remember. Believe they are tied with the Cubs for that dubious distinction.

Are You Currently a Fan of Nascar Racing?

Been a fan since Derrick Cope won the Daytona 500 in '89 or '90. I refer to it as my religion. I went years not giving a single thought to the championship. I've been a fan of nearly all the drivers, - at the same time. That's a large part of the appeal for me. For example, in baseball, my other...

Mark Martin won the 2007 Daytona 500

Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Mark Martin should have won. I'm not letting it go either. Never. I'm still spittin' mad.

Heat races in Xfinity series -What did you think?

I was really excited but....Just like the track itself, the hype doesn't match the reality. Single groove, no passing, no strategy other than not to ding up the car. It was boring. That being said I'd love to see it at another track, with some consequences or rewards as you all have noted...

    Texas RACE thread

OK, I watched the race, read most of the comments here and elsewhere, and what I think is that this chase format makes the championship more exciting and less credible. While I love the idea of the elimination style format and having it come down to the baseball equivalent of four wildcard teams...

Op-Ed: NASCAR races should never finish under caution

Don't get me wrong, I love it when a race takes the whole day. But there are some tracks where there's a lot of follow the leader until a certain point in the race, so why not cut to the chase (the metaphorical, not the actual). Really my thinking was that shortening the races would compensate...

Op-Ed: NASCAR races should never finish under caution

Why not shorten the races and and not count caution laps? Maybe by as much as half. If a caution comes out on the last lap, reset the number of laps for the finish according to the size of the track. Something like 10 laps for a place like Bristol and Martinsville, and 5 for the bigger tracks...
