Just to kill some time between now and the Clash,

The Racing Gods have granted you 10 minutes riding shotgun with any driver at any track. Who do you want to chauffeur you around, and what track are you touring? Any driver, active, inactive, or dead; any track currently on or off the circuit.

Me? Marcos Ambrose at Watkins Glen.

EDIT: Let's make that Ambrose at Laguna Seca! I wanna chunder in the Corkscrew.

Damn this is kind of a hard question. I got a few ideas in mind all for different tracks.

Let's see, if I can only pick ONE, then I guess I'll take Jeff Burton, maybe at Atlanta just because it's my home track and he was one of my favorites growing up. Honestly I would take cutting that 10 minutes in half if it meant getting to talk with him for a little bit as well.

Earnhardt, the end of the 2000 Talledega fall race. Hey, if I get to pick who..... I'm picking when.

Edit.....

Heck, I don't even want all 10 minutes in the car. I probably wouldn't even survive it. Just give me five minutes in the car and then a minute to change my underwear & clean up quick. Then give me the remaining four minutes in Victory Lane with him.

Rico in a 410 Winged Sprint at Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway, right on the verge of killing the cushion......

Larson in any sprint car at any track, sliders for all......

Earnhardt at Daytona in the pack. I want to see if I can see the air too......

Bobby Hogge IV in a dirt modified or Dirt Late Model, smooth as glass.........

What a fun question. I want to go to Bonneville with Bobby Isaac and if that doesn't count I would like to go to Talladega with Bobby Isaac. Basically if Bobby Isaac is going to Food Lion I would like to go with him. I am sorry that the picture is real big. It is OK to delete if it is a problem.

What? Dirt racing is Hella fun.
Oh, agreed. While it isn't on my list, that's one of the first combinations I thought of.

My co-worker who originally came up with 'What driver?' question wants to ride with Jimmy Spencer. I added the 'What track?' part, so he said Bristol or M'ville.

I too would pick Jeff Burton. Childhood favorite driver. I met him at Pocono in 2013 and got to talk with him for 5 minutes or so. He also came to my home town to throw the first pitch at a local baseball game in I believe 2002 and I met him then as well but I was only 7. I would pick Pocono for the track because of the speed and the fact it's the closest track to me.

My second choice would have been Spencer at Bristol.Saw him in 97 win the Busch race.
