Lord only knows but here's my guess:
Some more "desperate attempts" for action such as Cup dirt race(s), more road courses, and maybe a rule that limits length of green flag runs. Brian France builds a Superspeedway. Much more ticket variety at tracks: Standing room on backstretch for $20, Luxury box with bar $300. 30-40 cars each race in Cup, 20-30 in Nationwide and Trucks. NASCAR gives up and sells or disbands K&N and Whelen tours. Hometracks program will still exist, but just weekly short track racing. Tracks begin to enter 21st century and become more like baseball/football stadiums with stadium seating, varied food options, more luxury boxes, and a few regional transit options. The Earnhardt dynasty ends and Nascar tries to find a new poster child.
