According to Nascar.com, access to garage areas will be reduced by 20% in 2003.
So called "Hot Passes" will be issued to drivers, Nascar officials and certain news media. These passes will also apply to pit road.
See Nascar.com for the full story.

Looks good to me!

It sounds good to me. Finally they let the teams do what they need to do and plus its a lot safer in the garage area.

I'm glad they are limiting access. There are way to many people in the garage area. That was an accident waiting to happen. This should give the crews and drivers the space they need to do their jobs.

Artical says team will have 30 passes and the track gets 50. Say 45 WC and 45 BGN teams times 30 = 2700 + 50 for track = 2750 passes. Thar si=ounds very crowded in the garage to me.
I say no one in garage without a hard card. Hard cards cost $400 each.

I've got a friend who is a "Tony approved photographer" and she is a female, which might explain why he approves of her.

Tiny, even though I do see your point, I believe a 20% reduction is a good thing. (In fact, I wouldn't mind a personal 20% reduction in my weight, hehehe)
