There are still two of you that have Truex Jr. picked for the race this coming weekend. You will not get points for that pick.

Picks updated.....

Picks to date.jpg

I've reached out to both MAGICMILER and Sean87 to correct their pick of Truex Jr. Sean87 did respond with his new pick in a PM but not in this thread. Are you other players okay with me correcting his Trues Jr. pick to indicate Logano? Give me three okays from some game members so I can get that changed for him. I'd hate to see anyone lose points the first week because of the crap that's happened since Richmond.

No, he needs to post here, the hard way, like the rest of us ;)

UPDATE 2: Thursday morning release from NASCAR: "NASCAR is continuing to gather all the facts from last Saturday nights NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Richmond International Raceway. NASCAR will have no further comment until all the facts have been examined. "(NASCAR)(9-12-2013) :D More to come.

Yes, I read and also posted that earlier today in one of the many threads concerning the most recent happenings since Richmond. Personally I think that we are good to go. I am trying to drum up some support for a fellow player here. I asked Sean87 to post his pick on here rather than PM it to me as I didn't want any questions about me making picks for people. Trying to keep the game on the up and up. Some on here may take a PM to be inappropriate communications and then I would fall under the intense scrutiny that NASCAR is enduring. I don't need that.

I'm going to handle it this way..... Unless someone can give me a valid reason for not accepting Sean87's new pick then I'm going to change it for him. If anyone needs proof that it is indeed his pick I'll invite you in on the PM conversation.

MAGICMILER on the other hand has been on and off of here several times since I've PM'd him. I've gotten no response. I hate to see him get a zero for his Truex Jr. pick but that's what going to happen if he doesn't change it.

However the ripple effect concerns me.

I figured someone had seen and posted that but I couldn't find it in the myriad of threads concerning recent events.

It's your game and your call Commissioner, change them at your discretion so no one gets screwed and I dare someone to challenge your integrity.

As long as everyone's picks are posted before the start of the race, I don't have a problem with it.

I think Magicmiler is being a true New England fan and is sticking with Truex as a sign of solidarity , against a fellow northerner being dumped from the chase by Nascar brass .

As the 2012 DEFENDING RACING FORUMS CHASE CHAMPIONS, and imminents 2013 RACING FORUMS CHASE CHAMPIONS I do want to encourage all the girls and what few male posters we have here to keep on trying.
At one time I was just a dreamer myself, with no concept of the fame and groupies that was in store.

In spite of all I knew prior to becoming the 2012 RACING FORUMS CHASE CHAMPIONS, I learned a lot too. This year when I have it virtually clinched by Homestead like I did in my 2012 RACING FORUMS CHAMPIONSHIP drive, I will remember that somebody was able to usually outscore me every week thereby keeping me moderately interested.
Hopefully somebody will get a little lucky this time and be able to make Homestead a little more supenseful this year.

I can relate to the frustrations of everone else. I didnt know as much myself back in the early 70s before my 10th birthday either, so keep on trying, dont stop believing.:).

As the winner of the inaugural event, I bestow my blessings upon you DP.

While I appreciate the gesture I'm wearing the 2011 BOLD Prediction winner's belt so I'm doing alright. Heck, if we get Fender, the whole gang's here.
