What I wouldn't give... Flipping thru channels and came across Fast and Loud, a show I don't normally watch. But the guy was involved in building his COPO, something GM allows.
In recognition of the first '69 COPO Camaro they built 69 2012's and 69 2013's. MSRP starts at 70k,but 100k really gets you some.
A 2012 sold for $400,000

I watch fast n loud, saw the show. Pretty interesting seeing how they built the car. All the tooling used, you didn't have to even lift the crankshaft to put it in the motor. Tolerances so tight you had to drive it into the bearings with a wood block and a hammer. Ran like stink when they put it all together. I think the COPO that went for 400k was the first one made. None the less, all of them are great investments if you have money to burn, beats the heck out of a 401K and a hell of a lot more fun to look at and drive.

I don't have enough money to even look at a new Camaro. :(
Same here, owned 4 of them when I was a kid, 69 hardtop, 69 convertible, 70 1/2 SS and a 75 Lt. The SS was my favorite, taught my first GF how to drive on it, she never let me drive the damn thing once she figured out how to drag race at lights....lol!

Just for giggles I searched 2013 Camaro and got pages of hits. One dealer has a red v-6 with 17k miles for 22k. Also has a black, loaded, v-8 with 10 miles for 53k. Many in the 40 k +/- a few k range.

a guy I know bought a brand new one, 6 cyl. He took me for a ride, the 6 really pulls good, I was surprised at the power and the cornering ability is really good too. You can't see the hood or out of the sides very well. so that would take some getting used to.

Camaro: Call Auto Mechanic And Repair Often.....had a '70----seems like Chevy called it a "70 and a half"actually but who knows with them----still a piece of crap by any name lol.

Dems fightin' words 97! I bought a new '69 396 SS with my winnings from my service time. I'd give my left,,you know,, to have another.
