just wondered if they are not using that car....still to the back?
I think if you run a different car that you started the first practice session with or change an engine you have to start at the rear no matter where you qualify.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct. Also, I think if you go to your backup without an approved reason, even if you never ran a lap, you go to the back. This prevents teams from bringing 2 cars and picking which one they will use based on track conditions.
Anyone who knows this part of the rules, please confirm this. If I'm wrong, just go away without typing.
