Weekend Weather.jpg

Jeff's improving. At Vegas he was actually running at the end. Maybe at Phoenix he can manage to finish on the lead lap?

"We kid because we care!"

Harvick has owned Phoenix of late...........wouldn't be surprised, but the same bug may bite him that bit the 48 in Vegas........

BTW.......is there a thread somewhere which keeps up with Driver Standings? If so, I haven't found it yet.

New poster here. Been lurking since around the chase last year.

Anywho, I hope this weekend isn't another episode of The Harvick Show. But it's almost a certainty.

Welcome to the forum Adouble . Hope it fees good to be posting . Keep it up , you'll like it. Harvick isn't going to keep winning . This stuff runs in cycles and there are a lot of really great drivers about ready to take their turn.

Thanks, got off my duff and found it already, but thanks! :)

Pre qualifying "got my eyes on" for Phoenix.

4 car, 11 car, 5 car, 78 car, 2 car...........want so much to pick Jeff, but, shoot, I don't know who is worse snake bit....him or Kasey. And they ARE racing just below rattle snake hill..........This will probably change after qualifying..........going to the back at Phoenix is almost the kiss of death as I see it........short race, hard to pass.....

Phoenix is the one track on my list that I haven't attended. *sigh*
Looking forward to the race this weekend. Hoping the drivers/teams have a better handle on
the new package.

I'm good with my drivers handle on the new package so far. He's a win behind but leading the HMS organization overall. There's only one driver with a better average finish than mine so I think he's due to chalk one up in the win column at any time. I'd be real satisfied if he'd wait until the Martinsville race so I can see it in person. Nothing like going to a race and seeing your driver win.

Another guy that I am really rooting for is having a great season this year..... Martin Truex Jr. is wheeling that car this season. Only four drivers have an average finish under 10th and he's one of them. It'd be great to see him make the Chase early on.

My driver seem's to have fit right into the new package really well. He's been very fast qualifying and in the race but the sky keeps falling on him. Maybe this will be his week.
I agree about Truex. It's been a lot of fun watching him.
I think Chase Elliott could be the one to watch this weekend in the Xfinity series.

I sure would like to see Tony have a good weekend for a change. Maybe he could rehire Darian Grubb for an hour or so during Friday's practice to get him going again? ;)

That's so old school , but true . Used to be that the driver/crew chief relationship was critical . And I think it is for Harvick . Others , maybe it isn't .I'm surprosed how Junior hasn't missed a beat this year . I really thought he and Steve had something special.
