@KurtBusch and @TonyOldman41 talk qualifying strategy

Kyle Busch is down in 25th atm.

He's kind of hit a rough patch after Dover and it is certainly showing right now.

Harick was totally boned by Ragan's spin.

Another reason I don't like knockout qualifying. Every driver should get a chance to get a clean lap in on a clean track.

When they first announced this format of qualifying, I thought it sounded like it would be way better than the single car runs. I couldn't have been more wrong. I gave it a shot. I don't like it. I like one driver against the clock.

Yep.

If I was Harvick and I didn't get to run a clean lap because other cars wrecked or NASCAR throws a debris caution, I'd be pissed.

I was wrong, I was not calling him a slow. Just its kind of uncharacteristic to see him outside of the top 15. Looks like he got the car dialed in better on that second run.
Sorry. I wasn't being critical of what you said.

My comments really don't have anything to do with Harvick. I simply don't like this process. Just personal preference.

As far as Harvick goes, he should be pissed. This format penalized him with no infraction on his part taking place. There's something wrong the process if that can happen.

I even miss the opportunity to see the 'ghost car'. I always found that interesting watching the different lines that these drivers took. Seeing where speed is gained or lost. Now we have about five cars out on the track at the same time. It's impossible to watch all of them get their laps in these days.

WWE

Harvick got screwed over big time.

I'm not surprised Childers has not shoved his foot up the ass of NASCAR executives.

He should take the Hank Hills example to heart:

Stewart looking rejuvenated, great job by Him.

Blaney a top 5 start as well, that's kick ass.

Funny how it looked like the Toyotas looked better coming off of three and four compared to Logano's lap time. They just did not have the top end grunt going into turn one and two...

22 on the pole, not surprised

You would think you could count on reliable information from these people. You can't.

Agreed. It is disrespectful to those of us who love to learn about this sport. Daniel Trotta looks like she is heading out clubbing instead of hosting a show. Trotta couldn't carry Wendy Venturini's handbag.

They sure were conservative in this session. Hoping to see a bit of dicing in Happy Hour.
