2017 Dover - AAA 400 Drive for Autism - Pre Race Thread

I can't stand these false TV times they constantly promote for sports. 3:30 qualifying turns into 4pm.

Top 10 qualifiers in the trucks. No cuppers at least. Jeff Burton's son starts 10th.

A garbage truck!
"That's racing? Freak accidents often happen during a race but this accident on the track happened Thursday. According to the team, a garbage truck, tilted while driving on the banking at Dover, sheared the top of the Go FAS Racing transporter of driver Matt DiBenedetto as it waited to park in the NASCAR Cup garage. No race cars were damaged."

if COT was still there there may not be stages for Dover as Kyle Busch won in COT there

Just scored 2 free tickets to the Xfinity race from my friend. Haven't been to that since probably 1999.

Nice! Would love to go but can't really justify spending just about as much as cup tickets

All the Coke racing family are in the top 31.

Unfortunately one of the members of the Coke racing family was not given a very good car (again) and I am not in the least bit stoked about. Practice is in the chitter too but I fixin to grab a Coke and have me a smile anyway.

Digging that row 8 . Blaney on the inside - Chase on the outside.

Boy that's an old t-shirt, Jr's Busch days. I think I have that AC Delco diecast car stuffed in the closet with about 50 or 60 others from that time period.

[watching practice]

Damn straight about NOT retiring numbers.

Btw that rooster stapled to the King's lid is still growing and if I saw it right has sprouted a toupee'.
