This race should be another big test of the stage racing rules. The first two stage lengths are 75 laps, but a normal fuel window is 85 laps. We'll see how things play out but I hope it doesn't completely F up strategy like it did at Daytona.

According the maps on the Phoenix International Raceway website, the start/finish line appears to be in the typical location along the front stretch.

Has it been moved from there ?
It is included in the reconfiguration plan that is to be completed next year. Not sure when in that window the line will be moved but I would assume they wouldn't move it until there is appropriate seating/boxes in place.

Heh, heh, heh.... Yeah.

Hadda mild winter here in the lower right hand corner of the commonwealth. About thirty now 'n with a l'il breeze it's kinda chilly.

May be it's old age but I'll take it over the dry heat. I can get warm.

Cold weather sucks chunks. Having to keep up with all the extra clothes is a nuisance. No matter what I try, my feet always get cold.

I can cope much easier with heat. But wouldn't we all prefer days in the mid-70s and nights in the low 50s, with an inch or two of rain every fourth or fifth day?
