Perfect timing,. After reading about Patricks ride, I was just coming here to see
if there is a pre-race thread. I am curious if there will be more than 40 entries
sending some home.

Honestly ... for the first time, I'm just not feeling it this year. There are usually 2 races in the year I WILL not miss .... The first and the last. This year ... no excitement at all.

Arca race starts at 4:45 February 10th if you need an excuse to go to the track on Saturday.
Pretty pissed they moved the Clash to the day after. For years my dad and I have arrived bright and early Saturday, headed in for the morning and noon 500 practices, headed back to the car for some tailgating, then march back in for the ARCA and Shootout that night. Was a full day and really gave you your money's worth.

I personally hope the attendance isn't any better on Sunday this year with the 500 qualifying and they switch it back next year.

I did hear 42-43 yesterday morning but we probably won't see an official entry list until we get a little closer.
I just saw a rough list at reddit ,which came up when I googled.
There seem to be a lot of one offs this year. May get to 45 or so.
I thinks its safe to say over 40. That will make the duels meaningful.

We will be at the 500. Someday hope to attend all of speedweeks. Can’t wait! Lots of unknowns with the Camaro body, Blaney with his new team, Bubba and Byron, Chase taking next steps, Bowman trying to fill the 88, plus the next feud just waiting to happen between Hamlin and whoever, or KDB and anyone who doesn’t just move out of his way.

:dirtbike:

Chase Elliot

leads all practice sessions
gets pole
wins all segments
wins race with 45 lap lead while pushing Denny to a solid 2nd place finish ......... on old tires and no fuel

I can feel the excitement building.. and find myself drawn to RF a lot more than I have been the whole off season. So close! 3 weeks to Daytona but only 2 til cars on track in a competitive manner! Woot!

I didn't realize Florida voters had legalized marijuana, but I guess you can get that high on alcohol alone.

7:00 p.m.: Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Can-Am Duel 1 (60 laps, 150 miles), FS1
9:00 p.m.: Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Can-Am Duel 2 (60 laps, 150 miles), FS1

These two races have become completely and utterly pointless. Which is a shame. They used to be my favorite races during Speedweeks.
