Rain delay days are surreal. I dunno about checking for tickets but nobody at any track cares where you sit. They blow off the ceremonies; they want to get started, race, and get out of there.

They are checking for tickets. Oddly enough after walking around for more than an hour only one guy was selling. And he didn't have much at all. Might just buy at the ticket booth and avoid the hassle.
Twice I can remember when a track didn't check for tickets. Once on a Monday race at Atlanta and once at Daytona after a rain delay.

Let's try this raceday thing again. Monday 5pm edition. I don't feel like there was a lot of common sense used in this decision. IMHO, run us at noon and tape delay till 5.
 
The overcast surprises me, the weather radar looks totally clear.

Interesting. I think I've led a full life of global meandering -- and this is the first "bad" pizza case I've heard of...

(This isn't just a story you told the boss so you could lay about and wait for race -- is it?) :)
