Since one of the Steve’s has a delusional belief that the west coast is the biggest market, and is the sole reason for starting races during the peak heat of the day. Why not just run the races Sunday night?

Do I understand you want to base start times on what you acknowledge is a delusion?Since one of the Steve’s has a delusional belief that the west coast is the biggest market, and is the sole reason for starting races during the peak heat of the day. Why not just run the races Sunday night?
I think start times should be based upon MY schedule.Do I understand you want to base start times on what you acknowledge is a delusion?
That's what I've been saying for years. No races while I'm on vacation (other than while attending a race), fishing, hunting or any other important event in my life.I think start times should be based upon MY schedule.

Been a while since they last drove 750hp carsThis race might be amazing. These guys can barely hold on to these things
They can always add more track glue

Welp, one of them will have the 88 on the side of it come tomorrow.wow Bowman wrecked the backup car, Byron is in the backup car, that leaves JJ and Elliott with spares and Bowman without for Hendrick
I've got that Jones boy in pick em this week.. *fingers crossed*
Could be partly this. Goodyear loves to make rocksSounds like they put a banana peel next to the sticky stuff, based on the commentary.
That’s brilliant.
Great way to cap off a weekend. I'm all for it.I'm not against a few more Sunday night races actually.
Third times a charm, killed it
Thanks I’m here all weekThat’s brilliant.

“The plan for the 88 is to get the 48 car. We chose that because its a painted car and not a wrapped car, versus the 9. To re-wrap the 48 is a better option as far as body tolerances and things like that.”
Inb4 Byron drives to a top 5 in Jimmie Jam’s equipment
Byron has been very disappointing lately. I know he is young, but my hopes were superstar level for him. Guy wins 7 races his first year in trucks and 4 in Xfinity. Then comes to cup and has really struggled to find his footing, shocked honestly
Depends on the scheme. The ones that show off special feature (metal flake, color shifting, etc) are paint. Even for those races, the team probably has a wrap for occasions like these.Surprised to learn that the 88 Axalta color scheme is a wrap. I'd always heard that Axalta cars were painted because, you know, Axalta sells actual paint. Hmmm.

You've been out in the heat too long.I have the solution, think I will do a thread....
The race is scheduled to start at 3pm at about 173° F, it will be very hot.
Nascar just needs to book the race to start at 3 o'clock. That would have allowed Nascar to call an audibles and and run the race at 3am in this case. The same technology could be used for managing the rain races as well.
